WHEN YOU BUY YOUR MACHINE FROM US we show you how to use it correctly (and a few other tricks too!) 

We are currently running individual classes – properly-fitted masks, please!

Buying your machine through our store means we support our customers in their purchases.

We begin with a Get to Know Your Machine or Get to Know Your Overlocker class.

Once familiar with the machine, you can move on to any of our other classes or workshops that interest you.  These include advanced sewing machine and overlocker techniques, patchwork and quilting, basic dressmaking, how to install zippers, applique, free-motion work, machine embroidery, sashiko using the beautiful Babylock Sashiko machine, cushions, runners, bags, etc.  We can even advise and help you to finish that UFO lurking in the cupboard!

Children’s Classes may be scheduled during School Holidays.    These are a Make and Take class – suitable for girl or boy – their machine or ours.   What a wonderful Show and Tell item for Back To School!  

(Children’s classes are often fully-booked well before the break – it may be wise to register early for the waiting list!)

Machines we supply for children’s classes are cleverly and safely speed-controlled – no foot control required – much less scary and much safer!

For the Babylock overlocker and/or coverstitch people we run project and technique classes as numbers and availability allow.

Club days for Janome owners – register your interest and we can slot you into the next available class relevant to your machine(s) and requirements.

Need a hand to get started with Brother Scan’n’Cut?  It’s not at all scary once you know how!

Embroidery machines – we can help get you up and running.

Want to do a class with friends?  Find a project/technique you would all like to try and we can easily create a class to suit – minimum of 2 attendees.  We can even supply a class machine if you have interstate/overseas visitors.

Classes are generally booked about 2 weeks in advance, but occasionally we have vacancies, so give us a call 9584 3955 to book.
